MAGA Christianity, REAL Christianity & DEI

 


In this age of the personality cult of Trump, MAGA Christians have distorted the teachings of Christ in the New Testament. These New Age Trump cultists have zeroed in on certain past national policies that are actually based upon the words of Christ - DEI being the most prevalent of them.

DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have always been Christian values, even before the acronym was first introduced decades ago. We see examples of these concepts in creation, in Jesus' teachings, and in the unfolding of God's plan for salvation.

In The New Testament it says, "I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the lamb." Biblically, DEI is supported by scripture: Diversity (1 Corinthians 12:27-31), Equity (1 Timothy 5:18), and Inclusion (Galatians 3:28). In Acts 2, we read about the Day of Pentecost. People from every nation came to hear about Jesus.

Many non-MAGA Christian churches put emphasis on the real teachings of Christ: the importance of unity in diversity, equity in the eyes of God, and compassion for ALL people, regardless of their background or affiliations. And this is accomplished without the toxic distortions of Trump ideology.
